Bling-edy, Bling

Bling! Gotta love the bling! It's such a fav of mine! For my card this week over at Page Plans I pulled out my Cupcakes a'La Yummy from Unity and blinged it up! ...add a little Cosmo Cricket and you get....

Gotta love the bling! I think I could cover an entire card with this stuff and be happy! ...Oh, wait...I think I've done that before!

Ok, I'm off to catch up on some things around here. I have some super cute RAK to be posting today. Can't wait to share. I am also going to have a stamping fest at some point today. So much to do!

I hope you all have a wonderful day! I will post you soon!

More From CHA!

Ok...I really need to start posting some cards but what can I tell you!...I'm having a hard time getting back in the groove! Tonight I am working on another Great Swap Girl card....my Stampin Up stuff didn't arrive until the night before I left for CHA so I have had no time to work on this and it's due on Wednesday!

I'm taking a quick break from a card that is going no where fast to post a few more pictures....

On day one I saw Tim Holtz. Yup I asked if he would mind me taking a picture and then was so star struck that I took it of him doing his demo! Dork alert!
See the grin...he was totally laughing! He's so cute!

Here's another one of my favorite people. I absolutely love Joanne Basile. She is just the sweetest! How excited was I when she came up to the Unity booth! I was really looking forward to meeting her!

Isn't she a cutie!

What an exciting day this was! While I was walking around I saw Taylor VanBruggen! She could so be a model! She's super tall and BEAUTIFUL! I'm thinking that card making is just her side job!

Isn't she stunning! Talented, sweet and so pretty!

...and another super pretty and talented gal....Jen Balcer! I was completely star struck! I so love her! She is super talented and I love reading her blog.

I also met Sharon Harnist....

...this gal has mad skills! I so love all of her tutorials! Oh my goodness! All of these gals are the total package! Creative, sweet, beautiful! ...I am so star struck!

I had the great pleasure of having dinner with the Papertrey crew on Friday night. Can you believe it! Sitting at a table with all of these super talented gals! Ohmygoodness! It was an amazing time!

Ok...this one is a little blurry but I had to share the super cute flip FLOPs that Angela picked up for all of us....

How fun are these!

Here's the Unity gals with a couple of our new friends at dinner on Saturday night....

...another sort of blurry one but it's the best I have with the Diva herself! How exciting to meet her! Unity is coming out with a line of stamps for her and she was there doing the make and takes every day. What a sweet gal!

That's all I have for now. I am off to try and salvage this skunky card! ;) I hope you are all doing well and having a wonderful night! I will post you with something card/project related tomorrow...hopefully! ....and probably a few more pics!

Have a great night!

CHA Pictures Part Two...

Ok...my MIL is still visiting so I haven't had a chance to get any stamping done...do you know how hard that is! I was lucky enough to bring a few Unity goodies home with me and waiting to play with them is killing me! I thought I would share a few more pictures of the super sweet gals I met this weekend....

I truly feel so lucky to have been given the opportunity to attend CHA. I am so excited about everyone I met! I spent Friday totally stalking Sharon Johnson! You know I could not wait to meet her! Voila! Here she is at the SCS cupcake dinner....

How pretty is she! I so love her and I'm guessing at this point she realizes just how nuts I am! I think I almost knocked her over giving her a hug! ;)

...and since we are on the subject of the ever so fabulous Sharon! How about this little cutey!

Yup...that would be the ever talented Dee Jackson! So excited to meet her! I actually got to see Dee every day of CHA so I got to chat quite a bit with her. She is such a sweet gal. I adore her!

Ok...how about another one of the Unity team....

Check out those two Unity hotties in the background! The Unity guys were all the talk!

And how excited was I to meet the one and only Gina K! Oh my goodness! She's even prettier in person! ...and just the sweetest thing ever! LOVE her!

Ok...I think I might have actually liked the tiara! It's not every day that you can get away with wearing one of those! Hmmm....I think that it might complete the perfect ensemble for diaper duty. What do you think?

You know one of the people that I am completely in love with! She's one of the sweetest gals that I have had the pleasure of meeting since I started stamping. That would be Lori Craig. She's just beautiful and so sweet and she's even more beautiful and even sweeter in person! I love her!

Ok...one more for today....How excited was I when I saw Carolyn King....Cammie herself! Well, I could hardly contain my excitement! ...and then the one and only Carole Burrage is there! Oh my goodness! I was definitely a bit overwhelmed! I so adore both of these gals! Check this out....

Can you believe I took off the tiara for this one! Hey, how can you compete with these gals! Aren't they beautiful! I must confess to feeling totally like the soul sister of Caroles. We choose the same names...we like the same book....Yup...we're twins!

Well I guess I better go spend some time with the family. I hope you are all doing well. It is my sincere hope to get some stamping done tonight. I was lucky enough to come home with some new rubbah! Can you believe that is has sat on my desk all day untouched! It's a bit of a crime!

Post ya soon! :)

Hey you guys! :) I'm back! Wowza what a fantaBULOUS! weekend! I'm so sorry I didn't post from CHA....I had a bit of technical difficulty.

...so much to share!

Since it's Sunday, how about we start with this weeks Page Plans card....er, um...layout? Yup, Chris and Lesli offered up a challenge to the team this week. We are having a bit of a swap. All of the card team members will play with the layout sketch and all of the layout team members will play with the card sketch.

How fun is this! Lesli created this weeks layout sketch. Here it is....

How fun is this sketch! LOVE it! I had the most perfect picture of Evan fishing for this page! I pulled out my Unity Right On Target for this one. Here's my page....

What a little cutie! Evan was only 4 in this picture. This is one of my favorites! He so loves to fish and was so proud when he caught this one. It was so exciting for him!

Be sure and check out the rest of the team. There are some amazing samples for this sketch!

Hmmm....how about a little cha, cha, CHA!

Oh my goodness! Talk about a fun weekend! I was a little late getting to Chicago so I was going to meet everyone at the booth. When I walked in I was sooo excited to see.....

Sherry Cheever and Jeanne Streiff! Oh my goodness! I seriously had just walked inside and there at the Spellbinders booth they stood! So excited! These gals have some MAD SKILLS! They are both amazingly talented. OH MY GOODNESS! Oh, wait, I said that already! ;)

Man! This was 'kind of a big deal'! heehee...see the shirt! LOVE the shirts Angela had made for us. 'I'm kind of a big deal...I'm with Unity Stamp company'! How stinkin cute is that!

Cha, cha, cha....

Oh my goodness! I make it back to the Unity booth...hey, that was a major miracle! This place was huge! ...and apparantly I cannot follow a map! Angela, Brooke, AJ...all there....all completely AMAZING!....SUPER SWEET! They are Fantabulous! What can I tell you! Here's one of all of us at the Unity booth...

Ok....the last one to share tonight.....So while wondering through the Cosmo Cricket booth guess who I meet! Oh my goodness! The one and only Nichole Heady! Holy heck batman! Can you even believe that! ...and she knew my name! OH MY GOODNESS! Ok...you know that made my decade!

Yup...the big goofy grin pretty much says it all! I was so excited to meet her. She's so super talented and one of the sweetest people around! She's alwyas so encouraging...I really cannot say enough about her! What a doll!

...and speaking of dolls....

Dawn McVey! Another sweetie! Dawn is so talented and just such a nice gal! Oh my goodness! I cannot believe this weekend!

I have sooo many more pictures to share. Unfortunately I had all of 3 hours of sleep last night and I can honestly say the adrenaline has worn off! I am about to fall over! I will post some more tomorrow! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend and that you have a fabulous night!

Take care! :)

Purple Flowers....

Ok...purple and a bit of flowers! :)

Happy days it's time for Sharon's Stamp Simply Challenge! LOVE stamping simply! It's the name of the game! ;) It especially works for me this week! It's been a crazy one!

This weeks challenge is so super fun...you don't have to use purple flowers...just use flowers and the color purple and you are in! I used my Papertrey Bitty Baby Blessings paper...the sheet with the flowers....ding! And I used lavender moon...ding! Woohoo! :) The really cool part of this paper is that I actually ordered the 12X12 and the 6X6 so I was able to paper piece the same background on my Unity sucker but with smaller images. FUN!

Here's my card for this Stamp Simply #44 (ssnotime44).....

Be sure and check out the rest of Sharon's team....Julie, Tammy, Becky, and Janine...Dee is out at CHA already! Lucky girl! I'm still hoping my hubby's flight doesn't get cancelled! I cannot wait to head over in the morning! :)

I hope you are all doing well! If the airline cooporates my next post will come to you live from Chicago! :)

Have a good one! :)

One More Quick Papertrey...And An Update...

Hey you guys! Feels kind of like I fell off the face of the earth. This has been the craziest of days. I've had about a billion and one things to do before I leave for CHA...nope I'm not gone yet! I'm getting so excited I cannot even tell you! How exciting to meet so many of the wonderful friends I have made in real life! I am bringing my camera and will take so many pictures to share. I'm guessing there will be some pictures of at least some of the exciting new items out there! I'm pretty excited about seeing all of that as well!

A couple of things....first how excited was I when I went to Nichole Heady's blog this morning and saw my Halloween set received an honorable mention from this months contest! Wowza! I floated on a cloud all day! All of the projects are amazing! ...as usual! I so love seeing what everyone comes up with each month.

Next...I'm so excited that I will soon be teaching classes over at my LSS. Woohoo! How excited was I about this! I cannot tell you! My first class will be in October! Very exciting!

Ok...I was going to post something with my new Stampin Up....but then what with the Papertrey thing and all...I decided to post something with their stamps. Somehow....I have NO idea how! But somehow I never posted my entry from last months contest! How is that even possible!? No, I'm not holding out on you. I think I just completely forgot!

Anyway, this is a little baby scrapbook I made using the Bitty Baby Blessings stamp set and paper.

The first two pages look like this.....The next two look like this....I will confess that this is a favorite of mine. The cover has a slight smudge.....Hayden. I was pressed for time and didn't have a chance to fix it. Talk about being bummed! Oh well, I need to keep a better eye on the finished stuff!

Anyway, I am off to bed! It's been a long day! My MIL will be here tomorrow to help with the kids while I am gone. I will be posting while there. I am scheduling both my card for Sharon's challenge on Friday and my Page Plans card for Sunday. I will also try and check in while in Chicago to give you guys updates on all of the goodies and share some pictures.

I hope you all have a wonderful night! I will post you soon! :)

Happy Halloween???

hee hee....Yes, I know...it's July....I keep bringing you guys these seasonal somethings! Sorry...I am just getting all excited thinking about fall! What the heck is up with that!

Don't get me wrong! I am LOVING summer! It's super fun and we are having a great time! I just start to get all ready for all things fall and winter really soon! Eh...whatever...

So today I am going to share with you a little something I put together with my Papertrey stamps. I used Spooky Sweets and Polka Dot Basics for this.....
Can I just share what a bear this was to photograph! Holy Moly it was hard...to sharp of lighting so the green dots didn't look green and it looked like there was a spray of glitter all over the front! Anyway...you get the idea.

Hope you are all having a great summer! day! I will post you all soon!

Page Plans Sunday!

It's time for another fun Page Plans sketch! This weeks sketch was created by Renee Morris-Dezember. It's such a fun sketch!....

Well, I got to thinking about Christmas cards again. I'm totally on the Christmas kick! This is why by November I don't even want to think about anything relating to Christmas and am sick to death of red and green! ;)

...hopefully that won't happen this year! I guess if it does the good thing will be that my cards should all be finished!

Here's my card for this week....

I used the same set that I used for my ornaments from yesterday. This is one of my favorite Christmas sets! I really love the artsy feel of the images. So very cute!

I hope you are all having a great Sunday! We just ran in from outside...it's a beautiful day here! The weather is not to warm and the sun is shining! The beetles are still, however, flying! YUCK!

Have a great one! We are off to enjoy this beautiful day! Hope you are doing the same! :)

Supplies:

1.) Unity Stamp Company Stamp Kit Christmas Joy
2.) Crate Paper paper
3.) Real Red card stock SU
4.) Red velvet brads LSS

Christmas Ornaments

Every week Unity has a 'project of the week'. This weeks hostess is Unity's guest designer for July, Elizebeth Neuman. For this challenge you were to use polymer clay to create a piece of jewelry. You can find more information and specific details here. I will talk you through my creation...although I opted to make Christmas ornaments instead of jewelry. Here goes.

Here is the list of supplies I used to create my ornaments:

2.) Unity Stamp company stamp kit Fun Night Out....wait...what's this??? I'll explain in a bit!

3.) Polymer clay...I used the 'pearl' one.

4.) Rolling pin

5.) Hobby blade

6.) Versamark graphite black ink

7.) Embossing powder

8.) Heat tool

9.) copic markers

10.) liquid pearls...red, white

11.) gold stickels

12.) wire

That's it! Yeah...all stuff I'm sure is just lying around your stamp room! ;) Ok...I was actually shocked that I had polymer clay! I bought it when I first started stamping. It was something that SU sold and I thought I would try and figure out how to use it and it's sat on a shelf ever since! Good to know I really think through my purchases!

Anyway...

1.) Roll out your clay

2.) Stamp image on a piece of scrap card stock...I of course have none since I cleaned up...I actually used a new sheet...and then threw away the rest! ***Ravengirl...once I get back from CHA and convention I will get my act together and give away my scraps! That never occurred to me! Thanks for the suggestion! I would much rather see you use them than line the bottom of my trash can! ....

sorry...got off track there....

3.) cut out the stamped image and place on your clay...then cut out with your hobby blade...this stuff cuts like butter!

4.) snip a piece of wire and bend ...then insert into your clay

5.) place on wax paper and bake in 275 degree oven for 15 minutes.

6.) Stamp image on clay and emboss as usual

7.) Color in image....

*****After reading my own instructions I think I will take a few more pictures tomorrow and post them...sorry about that. There are some steps you may want to see that are different that Elizebeth's.

Here's my final project...

...now look at that tree! Do you see how some of the ornaments look like olives! Now you see why I had to pull out Fun Night Out! How can I have the set without the martini glass!

Oh my heck! What does that say about me! ***hick

just kidding! ;)

Ok...I hope you all get a chance to play with this one. It was definitely more time consuming than a card but well worth it! I really enjoyed doing this and think this would make great gifts this year.

I hope you are all having a great weekend! I am off to bed! It's been a long day! I have so much to do before Friday! CHA this week! woohoo! I am so excited to be heading to Chicago! I am really looking forward to meeting so many of my online stamping friends! I will post lots and lots of pictures for all of you!

Hope you have a great night I will post you in the morning! :)

Uno! Dos! Tres! Thankyou!

:) Stamp Simply time again! One of my favorite times of the week! :) This weeks challenge, if you choose to accept it, is to create a thank you card. Ok...you don't have to make 'tres'...but thank yous are pretty simple so why not?

I am so excited about this challenge this week! I can always use another thank you...or three! But, this week I have spent sooo much time cleaning and organizing my stamping space. I have completely re-done the whole thing! Part of that meant cleaning out my 'scrap' drawer(s). I never use the scraps...so I am not sure why I save them! I decided while doing all of this organizing to use up an entire sheet of paper when I pull it out. If that means creating two or more of the same card then that is what I am going to do. This will explain my trio of cards....

I used the same stamp set for this one. It's from Unity Stamp Co. and called Floral Fantastical. The paper is Crate Paper and all from the same kit. I used one 12X12 for all three...there was a bit leftover...not sure what I am going to do with that because part of my new thing is to not have anything left to save!

Ok...closer...here is the first card...it's the most EPLS of the bunch....

Then came this little number.....

...and finally......

That's it for me....I'm so excited that I used almost the whole thing...I won't tell you that I may throw out the rest! Look if I don't I will end up with chaos again! I can't deal with that! Really...it's for the best!

Be sure and check out the rest of Sharon's team...Julie, Dee, Tammy, Becky, and Janine. If you get a chance to play...and you don't have to make three! ;) be sure and upload somewhere and link on Sharon's blog...if you upload to SCS be sure and use the keyword ssnotime43.

...and I'm off! It's late and I am soooo tired! I will post you all tomorrow! Have a great one! :)

A Purple Papertrey Christmas!

It's time for another Christmas card! I LOVE making these! Today's is using one of my favorite Christmas sets ever...of course, is there a Christmas set I don't LOVE! ;) This one is called Believe. I also used my Guidelines paper for this. Yup...a purple Christmas card!

Here it is...

I used my liquid pearls on the tree as well. LOVE the liquid pearls!
Ok...that's it for now. I am off to work on my card for Sharon's challenge tomorrow. I hope you are all having a fantabulous day! ...and I will post you soon! :)

Let's Recycle!

Have you ordered from Unity yet? No, I'm not trying to be a high pressure salesman here...I am just wondering if you have seen the really cool packaging and the little 'extras' that come along with your order. When I got my first order, I opened up the box to find the most beautiful organza bags....that's what the unmounted rubber pieces come in...and the wood mounted ones are all attached with a plastic 'thread' and they all have this extra wooden tag. Even the handles come with a wooden tag already inserted inside of them. Like this....

You remove your wooden tag and viola...you have your handle...this is the d size handle...and acrylic block. EPLS...I can show you more about that at a later time....for now, I am concentrating on the free tag! I LOVE free! ...
I pulled the tag out and wondered what to do with it. You don't have to keep storing it in the handle. What would be the point of that? What would I do? Throw it away?! NO WAY! I decided to alter it. I actually decided to make a little notepad that I could use in the garage for my landscaping notes. I used Floral Fantastical for this set and my favorite papers of all time! Crate Paper...I'm not sure what line this is from but hey....it's Crate Paper! I LOVE those papers! Here's my little something....

I colored this in with my Copic markers and distressed it with my Antique Linen distress ink. I did add some pearls to the side images...you can never go wrong with pearls! I added a magnet strip to the back so the whole thing will hang on the fridge in the garage.

Oh the possibilities! If you have ordered and have some of the laying around I would love to see what you come up with. If you don't, now is a great time to find out. There is a sale over at Unity right now! You can find out more at the Unity blog.

I hope you all had a wonderful day! I'm off to bed! It's been a great day!...but a LONG day! I will have to take some after pictures when I am all finished downstairs. I posted a before...without really realizing it...at SCS...it was a wreak! I've been working for the last two days cleaning and reorganizing...you wouldn't believe the difference! I'm so tired I can hardly move! ...and I am suffering withdrawals! I really haven't gotten to stamp much! I am hoping to finish tomorrow so I can get lots of stamping in. I NEED that!

Hope you all have a wonderful night and I will post you soon!

They're Crawling All Over Me!

heehee! Well....seriously....THEY ARE!

The beetles are back! YUCK! It's Japanese Beetle season in Indiana yet again! How excited was I when I came inside after watering my plants to find one crawling up my foot! I was back in the basement trying to organize my paper and I couldn't for the life of me figure out what on earth Hayden was trying to get. Then I started to feel something through my sock...I look down to see that shiny, disgusting THING right on my toe! YUCK!

I feel like they are crawling all over me now!

Ok...so I did get a picture of my Eco Chic card. The camera sort of fogged because I went outside. It's not the best picture...but certainly not the worst I've ever taken! :)
Talk about EPLS! The card base is Sahara Sand and measures 4 1/4 X 5 1/2. The white square is 2 1/4. I inked the words in Chocolate Chip and then Old Olive on the leaves. I stamped them on a scratch piece of paper and then on my card. I also used some olive thread to sew a bit in each corner.
Simple, yes....but I think it really fits with this stamp.
Hope you are all having a BUG FREE! day! I will post you all soon! :)

A Quickie MFT....

Hey all you stampers out there! I'm sorry this will be another super quick post....I am trying to organize my basement still....I'm going to be perfectly honest....it's not going so well! Hayden is always two steps ahead of me! I start to go through one thing only to have to stop and move some things out of the way....it's just leading to big piles of stuff that I have no desire to go through...this is really going to take forever! :) I just wish I had my camera ready earlier...he was up to his ears in paper! It was super cute!

Anyway, I thought I would share a little something I put together for the My Favorite Things contest over the weekend....It was Kim's birthday! woohoo! Happy Birthday Kim! :) Anyway, here's what I made...

I LOVE this paper! I'm running out! Holy moly! I need to head to the store and pick up more before it's gone forever!

Anyway...that's about it for me....I am going to head back to the cleaning space....I can hardly stand to look at it by the way!

I will be back in a bit to post a little Unity card I made last night. I was trying to get some good light to take the picture. This is a super simple one that I made using the Eco Chic set...LOVE that set!

I hope you are all having a great day!

Post you soon!

Another Trifle Sentiment

Hey! A quickie post here. I am trying so hard to organize my basement. This could take the rest of my life by the way! ...but I am going to attempt to accomplish this in a week. Hmmm...we'll see how it goes!

Two things quickly....

First, be sure and pick up a copy of the latest Papercrafts mag...the August/September issue....one of my cards is on page 59! Woohooo! How excited am I! Here's the card. I took it off my blog so long ago...I can't even remember which post to add it back to! So we will keep it here.

Second, a SCS challenge card. Yesterday I played with the Featured Stamper challenge. I've never participated in one of these before. So super fun. You case a card from a SCS's gallery. You can find the card I cased here. I LOVE this card and Teneale's gallery ROCKS! Here's my card....

That's it for now...back to the dreaded cleaning out chore! I am purging this time around! Pulling out all of my retired SU sets...ok...I say that but I still cannot get rid of a few of them. Crayon Kids! How could I part with those!

Hope you are all having a wonderful day! Hopefully yours is full of a bit more fun than mine! ;)

Post you soon! :)

Happy, Happy...

Ok...it was supposed to be Happy 4th! But Blogger strikes again! I scheduled this post yesterday but it just never went out. So I hope you all had a great one!....a safe one! We had a WILD! one! It was fun...it was safe! We are all still breathing...just really quietly today! ;) I think my whole house is exhausted!

Anyway, I will share my card from yesterday today...This one if for the Unity Inspiration challenge. You can find all of the deets here. If you guys get a chance to play be sure and upload your card at SCS and use the keywords Unity & UIC07.

Ok...back to the card....

I love this stamp! This is from Unity's Je T'Aime. This is a personal favorite of mine. I love the lips! How fun! The pink ribbon and paper are from Papertrey. The white and kraft card stock are from Stampin Up. I also used my Swiss Dots embossing plate.

On another Stampin Up note...I am so excited that the new catty is coming out...I just placed my first pre-order and cannot wait! to share! Everything is yummy!

I hope you are all doing well! I am off to play with the boys some more! They are on a mission to do some major Mario Kart unlocking today! Sounds like fun don't ya think?! ;)

Have a good one! :)

It's Friday! It's Friday! It's Friday!

Woohoo! It's Stamp Simply time! You know I LOVE my Stamp Simply time! Sharon! Doesn't she rock! I so need her to keep me straight! She lets us all know that we don't have to overthink it to come out with something pretty. She ROCKS!

Well, this week is a super fun week! Something soft and girlie! Ok...in a house filled with testosterone this is a really LOVED challenge! I so love making this pretty! I really don't get the opportunity that much around here!

Ok...well, I will share. I instantly thought of my new stamp set from Flourishes....my lacy heart set. Have I told you guys how unorganized I am? K...if not...I'm REALLY unorganized! I used the heart from this set about a week ago for a card I made for my husband...our anniversary is coming up....guess what??? I didn't put it back in the set! In fact, I'm guessing it's still on the acrylic block that I stamped it with! Where's the acrylic block you ask? Yeah, well that's the million dollar question! heehee...I'm a mess right now!

Ok...so here's what I did instead....

I used this really fun frame from Unity. It came with my Queen for A Day set. I then used one of my SU sticky hearts and covered it with my silver beads...the micro and the bigger. I also used two of my small chipboard hearts...they are also from SU but I'm sorry...I can't remember the who, where, or why to this! The pink glitter on the chipboard hearts is something that I bought at my LSS about 3 years ago when I started stamping....the sentiment is from my Lacy Heart set from Flourishes. How pretty is that word! LOVE it!

That's it for me! Be sure and check out the rest of the gals....Julie, Dee, Becky, Tammy, and Janine.

I can't wait to see what you guys come up with. I'm off...it's time to get a little Wii in with the boys...yup...they should be in bed....but the other half is home tomorrow...maybe I will be able to get a nap in before the 4th festivities get into swing...of course...the way it sounds outside right now...we could go and check out fireworks right now!

Hope you are all doing well and I will post you soon! :)

More From The Grove

Hello everyone! I'm happy to report that my computer is fixed! ...but my TV broke last night! What are the odds! It's another Dell...and I'm not an employee...but I will say that their customer service is great. The thing is just outside of the warranty gut they are going to replace it. Happy day! ...and I only had to hold for 38 minutes before getting an operator! ;) I should start keeping a tab...I bet I have spent at least 3 straight days doing this over this last week!

The Card That Microsoft Built

heehee!....last night I decided to waste yet another 12 hours of my life trying to get help fixing my email problem. I thought I would go straight to the online support at Dell because...did you know they can commandeer your computer and work on it? Man, that's so cool! And easy...or so I thought.

After waiting for about 15 minutes for my turn I was told I needed to contact Microsoft. Have you ever sat on hold waiting for help there! It takes forever! Of course, then I had to go through the whole thing all over again...not just once but twice! But finally someone gets on the phone to help me. After 45 minutes of trying to figure things out he asks if I will give him control of my computer. Will I!!!! Why the heck didn't he just say that to begin with! I have no problem with that!

Anyway, the whole time I am working on a card. Using...Bliss & Birdie...yet again! It was sitting on my desk and the sentiment 'Don't Cry' was staring right at me so there you go! That's what I kept saying to myself as I was waiting for some resolution!

Here's the card...

Sad thing....it turns out it has something to do with an update with my Virus software. And wouldn't you believe it! I have to contact them! Holy heck! I don't even think I can handle one more minute of this! Maybe they can take over my computer and just fix the whole thing!

Thanks so much by the way to each of you for your honest input about the three column thingy. I never could figure out how to change the spacing of the columns. This morning I went back to two. I like the idea of three. I've seen it on so many and love how it looks but they are usually not using blogger. I was able to figure out how to do the stretch with the same colors as before. I'm feeling like a computer whiz at this point! Of course it will all be forgotten in no time flat!

And I'm off! I didn't get to do any blog surfing last night. I didn't get to go through the tons of email that was pulled last night. Somehow I have so much to fit into this beautiful summer day!

And lucky #2...Ravengirl is the winner of my random draw. Thanks so much you guys! I really appreciate your help! Be sure and send me your deets Ravengirl so that I can send you this fun stamp set!

Have a great one! :)

2 or 3???

Hey all you summer stampers! Are you feeling like the blogasphere is a bit of a ghost-town? It's making me a bit sad. So what are you guys doing to keep busy this summer? Even I...hard to imagine...am not getting quite as much stamping done! The sun is out the weather is warm and the kids just want to go, go, go!

Ok...obviously I was a bit bored today. I messed around with my blog. You know, I am on wait list to have a professional do this for me but give me to much time and, well, I will find a way to make a mess! ;) So what do you think? Three columns. I like the idea. I just think there needs to be more room. I wish that I could figure out how to make the text part bigger....wider. That's a tough one. It's not like I figured the three column thing on my own. Oh...no! I can't even figure out how to fix my email! But there wasn't any direction in changing the size...at least not specific enough for this computer illiterate!

Ok...moving on. And yes...I really do want to know what you think. And I'm not above bribery! I know...you get busy and don't really want to wait for the little pop-up to write something...I do it all the time. How about this. I am getting ready to clean out my retired SU stamps. I will draw a random number and the winner will receive a brand new, never been mounted or used, So Very stamp set. Yup...I'm a little bored! Feel free to let me have it. I like the idea but think it might be a bit 'busy'.

Wowza...I need a little something more to do!

How about a card? Well, sort of a card.... I made another one of my candy 'wallets' for Unity's release party last week. I used the new Delectible Delights for this one. I took a couple of pictures. Here they are....
When you open it you see this....

The candy bar sticks to it's side with a little velcro dot. This measures 5 3/4 X 5 3/4 inches. It's scored at 2 1/2 inches on both sides. It's really EPLS...ok...not a quickie by any stretch but not really very difficult either.

Ok...back to the mommy stuff....I really have to think of something for dinner. Since we've pretty much had hamburgers and hotdogs all week maybe I should think of something a bit more nutritous. Bummer!

Post you all soon! Enjoy the rest of your day! :)
