Monday Challenge Time

Happy Monday! It's a no school day here so I am off to pick up donuts ...and Starbucks... with the boys! Donuts are a great way to start 'Monday Funday' but I have NO clue what the rest of the day has in store! It's cold outside! ;) I'm feeling kinda whimpy!

On to todays challenge. This week we are all making birthday cards. That's simple enough. I decided to pull out one of my favorites from Unity.....I will come back in a bit to see if I goofed and used one that was retired...the natives are getting restless and I couldn't find it on the search. The paper is Pink Paisley and the ribbon is Martha Stewart. I colored the image with copics and then added a little shimmer to the sucker for shine. I also added some clear dew drops. Here's my card...

Boom!

Boom Goes My {heart}... :) Have you seen this one from Unity? I LOVE this one! It's sooo cute! Here's my first card with it.....


How cute is that! I LOVE those little turtles! I colored this one with my copics and then went back over the heart with a little bit of Shimmerz in Hottie Pink...I LOVE how sparkly Shimmerz is! Hey, a little bit of bling is always a good thing! ;)


Today will be a crazy one for me. I'm leaving for CHA this weekend. Woohoo! :) I'm so excited to see so many of my stamping friends and how fun to see all the upcoming releases! I will be posting pictures and maybe video...if I can figure that out!...from the road. I'll still be around with my daily posts...hip hop tomorrow! woohoo!..... Today will be a crazy one filled with lots of housework and last minute running around. Fun stuff! :)

An October Afternoon

A quick post today. I am determined to spend the day cleaning and reorganizing the basement. This could take a year...but I am really hoping to finish today! ;)

I created this little quickie using some new October Afternoon supplies I picked up at Jacksonbelle.....

I colored the little house with my copic markers and added a little gold shimmerz ...did ya know!...Jacksonbelle has 4 new colors exclusive to her store! Gotta check those out! ...to the windows. EPLS...ok...coloring takes a little while but otherwise, it's pretty simple.

Off to clean....anyone want to do it for me? ;) Post you all soon. I'll be back tomorrow with the Monday challenge project, Tuesday is a Jbelle challenge....and HIP HOP! We're back hoping this week! Woohoo!
