Flower Soft & CPS

Happy Wednesday! I'm back with another Flower Soft project. This week feels more like summer than spring. We are actually supposed to be in the 80's by Friday! I'm so excited to be 'shaking off' winter! I was so in the mood for all things spring and with Easter being this weekend I was inspired. Take a peek at my card for this week.....

The paper for this one is Jillibean Soup and Core'dinations....LOVE this card stock! The ribbon is from Michaels. The bunny is a super cute die-cut from the Winter Woodland Cricut cartridge. I cut the base out and then cut the face and leg twice so that I could pop them both up. Next up I applied a little Flower Soft, Polar White of course, all over the bunny adding a little Ultra Fine Flower Soft to his little nose and ear.

Here's a close up....
The layout for this card is from this weeks Card Positioning Systems...CPS160. I'm sooooo excited to be part of the CPS team now! OMHeck! Truly honored! I LOVE Tammi's sketches and am over the moon to be working with her now! :) I'll be back with another CPS card tomorrow evening.

Now be sure and check out the rest of the Flower Soft design team to see what they have in store for you.....

Stamp Simply Time

It's time for another Stamp Simply challenge. This weeks challenge is to create an Easter card. I have a little something different than my usual for this one. One of my friends {Lisa} is a photographer and she always takes the cutest pictures of her dogs for the holidays. They are always dressed up so cute! Here's the shot she took of one of her dogs, Nola.
How cute is she! I decided to 'borrow' Lisa's photo of Nola and print it off on a transparency so that I could add it to a card. Here is the final product.....

The photo doesn't do this one justice. I love the subtle coloring from the photo. It's really beautiful when you see it IRL. Here's a close up.....

The sentiment is from one of my favorite Papertrey Ink sets. You can always find the perfect sentiment in the perfect card size with their stamps. The paper is also PTI as well as the ribbon.

Be sure and check out Sharon's beautiful sample as well as all of this weeks challenge deets at Sharon's blog. You can also view the rest of the samples here.....

So Excited!

I'm so very excited! I got some wonderful news yesterday! You know I've been on Jillibean Soup overload for the last couple of months. I LOVE everything that is Jillibean Soup! The papers, embelli's...everything is BEAUTIFUL! Well, how excited was I to learn that they were having a design team call and how excited am I that I was chosen as one of the guest designers! :) Getting the email yesterday was such a happy day! :) I am so excited to have the opportunity to work with this wonderful company and look forward to my upcoming spot. :)

Here is one of my projects that I submitted for consideration. This is actually one of my favorite paper lines. The paper is from Egg Drop Soup. EVERYTHING in this line is BEAUTIFUL! I seriously fell in love with all of it.

The chipboard pieces are random that I have combined in my big box of chipboard so I am not positive on the manufacturer but I covered it with the Jillibean Soup Paper. I also then added some of the fabulous buttons that are in the Jillibean Soup line. The sticker sentiment is from the Egg Drop Soup sticker sheet.

Head on over to the Jillibean blog to see all of the new design team additions and the rest of the guest designers. I'm so very excited and so honored to be working with such a talented group of people.

***Also, this post has all of this weeks deets for the current Stamp Simply challenge. You don't want to miss this fun one. :)

Hope you all have a wonderful day! I will post you soon! :)

Stamp Simply

It's time for another fun Stamp Simply challenge. I so love this challenge. This weeks challenge is to create a Clean & Simple card using texture. I really enjoyed this challenge. I love adding dimension and texture to projects especially anything CAS. I like the contrast and the challenge to keep a project truly CAS while adding to it. Here's what I came up with.....

I used the new Unity KOTM for this one. I also added some Jillibean Soup patterned paper. I popped up the gumball machine and then paper pieced the bottom portion while adding a bit of Crystal Effects. Here's a close up....

That's it for me. Be sure and check out our fabulous leader, Sharon's sample at her blog and then take a peek at the rest of the Stamp Simply team.....

You Said, He Said

Happy Thursday! I really love this time of the week....time for more Unity goodness. This week I have another layout using the new Scrapbook Kit, Favorite Things. This kit is amazing with so many possibilities.

This is one of my favorite pictures. My middle son LOVES our dog Truman. He will sit with him in the 'big chair' and just talk and talk. It's really so cute. Since the chair is right behind my desk I often catch a bit of the conversation here and there. That's really hard to do as most of the time he's actually whispering in Truman's ear! CUTEness!
Here's a closeup...

This particular 'conversation' was after dinner that wasn't Cary's favorite. What else would a boy do but feed it to the dog. No wonder Truman will sit with him and let him whisper in his ear! He knows who has his back!

Be sure and head over to the Unity site for all of today's 'this and that'. I will be back in a bit with more.

Have a good one! :)

Supplies used: Unity Stamp Co stamps Favorite Things, Jillibean Soup paper, Quick Kutz cork paper, Tim Holtz metal, Jillibean Soup alpha, Cricut machine.

The Unity Store Kit

Happy Saturday! Today is a busy one at our house, my youngest is turning three today. I cannot believe how quickly time is flying by with him. He's such a sweetie. He actually came into my room singing 'Happy Birthday' this morning. Of course he adds 'eat more chicken' after each verse. *shaking my head....have NO clue where he gets some of the things he says.

Ok...off to a card. Today I have an EPLS (easy peasy lemon squeezy) something with Unity's new store kit. You can view the whole kit here. Here's my little card for today....

The paper for this one is Jillibean Soup. The ribbon is PTI.

Hope you all have a wonderful day and weekend! I will post you soon! I'm off to pick up the candles I forgot and one more little somethin', somethin'.
