Mom is a VERB!  How many ways do I LOVE this stamp!  I thought this would make a perfect Mother's Day/Any Mom's Day card.  Right?!?  Love it!

My Sweet Unity

It's been far to long since I've posted for Unity.  I've been on a bit of a hiatus and it's so good to be back.  I'm excited to share some samples of the new Susan Weckesser stamps.  I will have another to share tomorrow.  Take a peek at today's....

How cute is that little snowman!  LOVE him!  This felt like the perfect sample for today.  It decided to get cold here again.  I shouldn't be complaining, we've had a VERY mild winter so far.  I think I've gotten used to the 'warmer' weather!  When it started lightly snowing yesterday it was a bit depressing.  Viola!  The perfect card for that type of weather!  :-)

A Paper Posies Challenge...Finally Home

Hey Peeps!

So sorry for the delay. I was fortunate enough to head down to Miami this past weekend for the Colts game. FUN! I had the best time at the game. What a blast! Those Miami fans know how to have a good time! I LOVED all of the music...the game was EXCITING! Super fun stuff! Thankfully, Michele from Paper Posies posted the challenge I am hosting for this week. Phew! Thank you so much, Michele!

Now on to this weeks Paper Posies challenge.....

This weeks challenge will be a 'limited supply' challenge of sorts with one restriction....jewels. You must use jewels. I was so inspired by the beautiful jewel Basic Grey flower from this months kit that I just had to incorporate that somehow!

Soooo.....please create a project using....

1.) ....one, and only one patterned paper. Yup, if you were to get really creative and it was one of this months double sided sheets you could use both sides on your project.

2.) ....two sheets of card stock. You may use two different colored pieces but only two.

3.) ....gems, jewels! ...It's gotta have BLING!

4.) .....NO ribbon! Yikes! You know I LOVE ribbon but not today! Today we are leaving the ribbon on the spool and working without it!

It's Jacksonbelle Time!

It's time again for another Jacksonbelle challenge! This weeks challenge is a sketch. Some of you will remember that I shared with you about my computer crashing. Well, it's gone! I'm still hoping that they are able to salvage my pictures and files but the computer is a lost cause. I am happy to report that I have a new computer. The problem is....and the reason I am sharing this rant! ;) ...is that I couldn't figure out how to copy this weeks sketch to share. ....but, you can view the sketch over at the Jacksonbelle blog. I used Basic Grey's new Wisteria paper for this one. Everything except the sentiment is from BG. The sentiment is Pink Paislee. You can find it all over at Lindsey's store.

Hang 'Em Simply

It's time for another fun Stamp Simply challenge. This week Sharon has such a fun one for us! This week we need to 'hang' something on our cards. For all the deets be sure and check out Sharon's blog.



I was actually going to do a layout. I have one...unfinished...sitting on my desk with these cute little clothespins. Problem is that would have taken me forever to finish up tonight...and, well, I got some new goodies in the mail today that I could NOT wait to use! Remember after CHA when I shared one of my new loves...Canvas Home Basics? I LOVE this place! They have such cute stuff! So I ordered myself a few things and decided it would be perfecto for todays challenge. Here's my card....



The paper for this one is Basic Grey. The stamp is Papertrey Ink. The canvas pennant is from Canvas Home Basics. These things are amazing! I added some Pink Paisley rub ons to the canvas and then added some distress ink. I am loving them! :)

It's Stamp Simply Time!

Ok....and that side note I mentioned earlier. ***A non-stamping moment*** Do any of you watch the bachelor? I will confess to being addicted. It really doesn't matter who the bachelor is, I always watch. At least in the beginning. There is something about that train wreck of a show that keeps me from turning away. Well, that, and the fact that there really isn't anything else on TV! ;)

Anyhoo...did any of you watch last night? Holy heck! I will say that if you missed it...you missed quite the comedy! Seriously! It was quite a riot! Some of my favorite quotes...'I'm truly not a stalker....and how is your brother?'....'What's your favorite hot dog topping?....'I can't wait to have children'....'I sell toe implants'....'I quit my job to come here to meet you'...

....how about the gal that read the 'soul mate' poem?

....and the chickie that was shooting daggers at her for actually reading it. Who then throws in she has a gift...that she will give later...hmmm....really?

...but I have vision boards....how could he not pick me.....

....Um....yeah....what else needs to be said? Except that Jason does not have the best poker face! He looks almost frightened....and rightfully so! ...and I CaNNOT WAIT for the next episode! LOVE this show!

Ok...hope you all enjoy the J'belle eye candy today! I know that I am so excited to take the tour and see what everyone came up with. This is such a fun sketch! It's AMAZING! I hope you all get a chance to play! :)

Christmas in ...August?

Well, at this point you just gotta start working on it! Let's face it, if not then you will be hitting the card section at Target and that, quite frankly, should be a sin! ;)

Here's one I created using Unity's new Bitty Christmas Tags. This is a super fun set as well. I used some of my Basic Grey paper for this one.

The ribbon is something I picked up from my LSS. Did I tell you I was going to start teaching there? Cord Camera's scrapbook store...yup, starting in October! You know, because I don't have enough to do! I picked up the ribbon while choosing my supplies for the first class. It's in October so I am going to do some Halloween stuff. LOVE the paper I chose. Once I finish it I will share it with you guys.

Ok...on my way home today. Wish me luck! Still freaking about the whole flying thing! That I've made it this far is cause for a celebration! Can you even believe it!
