The Fantabulous Sharon!

Woohoo! It's time to Stamp Simply and it's time to case Sharon...or at the very least to create a card inspired by the fab Sharon! LOVE this week! Sharon is such a sweetie and she has the most elegant style! I decided to TRY and case her! I LOVE this card...it's beautiful! LOVE the white...love the tree...the whole thing is BEAUTIFUL!


Here's my take on Sharon's card....



The heart is from Flourishes...because I totally think Sharon when I think Flourishes! The sentiment is Unity. The ribbon is random from Michaels.

It's Friday! It's Friday! It's Friday!

Woohoo! It's Stamp Simply time! You know I LOVE my Stamp Simply time! Sharon! Doesn't she rock! I so need her to keep me straight! She lets us all know that we don't have to overthink it to come out with something pretty. She ROCKS!

Well, this week is a super fun week! Something soft and girlie! Ok...in a house filled with testosterone this is a really LOVED challenge! I so love making this pretty! I really don't get the opportunity that much around here!

Ok...well, I will share. I instantly thought of my new stamp set from Flourishes....my lacy heart set. Have I told you guys how unorganized I am? K...if not...I'm REALLY unorganized! I used the heart from this set about a week ago for a card I made for my husband...our anniversary is coming up....guess what??? I didn't put it back in the set! In fact, I'm guessing it's still on the acrylic block that I stamped it with! Where's the acrylic block you ask? Yeah, well that's the million dollar question! heehee...I'm a mess right now!

Ok...so here's what I did instead....

I used this really fun frame from Unity. It came with my Queen for A Day set. I then used one of my SU sticky hearts and covered it with my silver beads...the micro and the bigger. I also used two of my small chipboard hearts...they are also from SU but I'm sorry...I can't remember the who, where, or why to this! The pink glitter on the chipboard hearts is something that I bought at my LSS about 3 years ago when I started stamping....the sentiment is from my Lacy Heart set from Flourishes. How pretty is that word! LOVE it!

I'm off...it's time to get a little Wii in with the boys...yup...they should be in bed....but the other half is home tomorrow...maybe I will be able to get a nap in before the 4th festivities get into swing...of course...the way it sounds outside right now...we could go and check out fireworks right now!

A Super Big Congrats To The Fab Sharon!

Wowza! Today is the big day! You've seen the sneaks...all this teasing!...leading up to today! I cannot say just how excited I am for Sharon! Today is the big reveal of her new line of stamps over at Flourishes! Her very own Stamp Simply line! Woohooo!

Well, I just happen to be fortunate enough to have my hot little hands on my very own set of her very first release! :) (Thanks Sharon!...she's sweet and generous to boot!) Well you know I couldn't wait to ink it up! Here's my first card using this b-EA-U-tiful set....

Oh how much I LOVE this set! I decided to do my own little '10 Minute' card. I stamped one of the sentiments and then decided to add the plain coffee cup to it. Then I added the little 'flourishy' smoke to the top of the cup and then I noticed the little 'Flourish' logo stamp....you know the little one that comes with the acrylic stamps. Well I decided to mask the copyright info and use it to make my cup a bit more decorative.

I'm sure I will post more with this set...maybe even today! For sure tomorrow. I am sooo using this for Sharon's challenge tomorrow! K...not this card! It doesn't fit...don't want to give anything away! But I think I know just what I am going to do! This set is perfect!
