How much do I LOVE flowers! I've spent so much time over the last couple of weeks working in the yard planting annuals and tending to the perinnials. There just can not be enough flowers for me every summer!

This weeks Stamp Simply challenge is right up my alley! This week we are picking our favorite flower stamp to create with. The hardest part for me was actually trying to narrow that one down! I have a few flower stamps and love every one of them! I opted to use this little something, something from Unity....

The stamps are from the November 2008 Unity KOTM. I so love these kits! They are always amazing! You can get all the deets about this weeks challenge over at Sharon's fabulous blog. Also, if you are uploading your creations to SCS please use the keyword ssnotime89.

Be sure and check out the rest of Sharon's team....Barbara, May Guest Designer, Janine, Julie, AJ, Becky, Tammy, and Deb.

Hope you all have a wonderful day! I will post you soon! :)

If You Give A Boy A Camera....and Hip HOP!

Happy HIP HOP! :) Hope you are all enjoying the hop so far.

While uploading my pictures for this weeks hip hop I found a few that I didn't take. could that happen??? Take a peek at some of what I found.

Caught in the act! ...and I wonder how all the dents make it on the table in the entry! The stairs look down on the entry way and now I know! Yikes!

.....poor kitty! Happy it was at least a soft something!

.....and the guilty party........

How funny is that! These pictures made my night! There were many more but I will spare you...and myself! was of my messy kitchen! Yikes! Don't want that one out! ;) This is his 'self portrait'....a little over exposed but such a riot! He cracks me up! I so needed this!
Now on to hip hop!
I'm loving this weeks theme. I've got a little something that we are going to be sending in to one of our favorite teachers. Take a peek.....

This one uses a sentiment from last years July KOTM and the flowers are from this months KOTM. Two of my favorites. I also used Crate Paper dsp and a little Flower Soft. The color is Baby Peach.
Now head on over to ***Chelsea Cook***
Hope you all enjoy the rest of your hip hop! I will catch you all later! :)

It's Wednesday! Woohoo! :) Don't you love how the week flies when you've had a three day weekend! Is it bad that after that three day weekend I am already looking forward to another? Hmm....not sure I want you to answer that! ;)

Another quickie for me today. Tomorrow I will be back with a layout! Geez! It seems like FOREVER since I have scrapbooked! Something is seriously wrong with that! My poor pictures are sitting on this computer just waiting to be printed!

Today it's a simple little something something and a bit of news....well, almost news....hinting at news.... ;)

This one is all The Little Yellow Bicycle. I'm not usually a purple fan...not sure what my issue is with purple....but I really love the soft shade of this paper and it's perfect with the orange. So fun! The sentiment is from the fabric stickers and the paper is a paper pack. I also used Papertrey's Summer Sunrise card stock and ribbon.
Now for something FUN! Have you seen this site yet? You know how much I LOVE Flower Soft! Well, the new blog is up! I just read that they have some news coming up next week. ;) I am so excited about this! You all should check out the site to see what's up. They have a little challenge with some blog candy that you will NOT want to miss! :)
Hope you all have a great day! I will post you tomorrow! :)

Red, White, & Blue Hip Hop Style

Hip Hop! It's that time again! Are you loving all of the patriotic projects this week? I love this time of year. Memorial day and soon 4th of July....celebrating all of the men and women in our armed forces who sacrifice so much to ensure our freedom. We are truly so blessed in this country due to these courageous people.

I have had the great privilege to know so many of these men and women personally. I have many relatives that have served. One of my cousins was actually on the USMC silent drill team. Have you ever seen these guys? AMAZING! I cannot believe how fantastic they are! My youngest brother....he's 19....just entered the army. My Dad was in the army. I'm so proud of each of them for all that they do and have done.

Here's one little project for the fourth....couldn't resist making this one....

I used this weeks Clean & Simple sketch for this one. You can find the GIANT 4th stamp here at Unity and the distressed star background here.

Some more of my heroes. My Mom, my Aunts, my Grandmother. Being a mom myself now, I have a whole new respect for all that she did while we were little.

Picture this, we are driving to school this morning....cause we missed the bus...even longer story. Anyway, we are in the car, one is teasing the other, as I am asking the one to stop a hand flies a nose is hit and BAM - a busted nose! I drop one off at school and take the other home to clean up. Then drop him off, which now means walking him in...with the two year old....all the while trying not to miss the repairman that is supposed to be at my house sometime between 7AM and 7PM.....

How did our parents make it look so easy!

The next one is using this months KOTM. I used the 'You light up my life' sentiment.

EPLS (easy peasy lemon squeezy). to clean the car. It's still a bit messy in there. Yikes! Hmm.....wish there was a detail service that came to your house....and was free! Oh, wait, that's me isn't it! ;)

Hope you all have a great day!

Ok...thanks for letting this proud mom share. I'm off to another CRAZY! day! I will be back this evening. Hopefully to also update with my layout for this weeks CASSB challenge.

Clean & Simple nO.8

....and Where Have You Been!

lol...sorry, things have been insane around here the last couple of weeks. To fill you in:

First, the laptop died. That I shared with all of you a couple of weeks ago. Second, the car died while my hubby was out of town....of course! I've had a zillion and one PTO commitments to fulfill for the end of the year. Some samples for SU.

Ahhhhhhhh............finally time to rest! This has been the craziest few weeks on record for me! I'm happy to say that things have finally slowed down. Woohoo!

Now time for another Clean & Simple scrapbook challenge! Are you ready? I hope you all had a great holiday weekend! :) Mine was relaxing but still filled with so many deadlines! I'm so happy to be sitting on my deck typing this while enjoying a relazxing moment and some not so warm air. It's really chilly here this weekend!

This weeks C&S challenge is to use this sketch......

Create any layout with it and put your title wherever you want! I'm pretty loose and free with it this weekend! I can't wait to see what you come up and where you put the title. I love this sketch. It's one of my favorites so far.

I will be back in a bit to insert my title here. ;) I'm enjoying a little time celebrating the end of a busy PTO year and some wonderful time with the family! :) I hope you are all doing well!

Be sure and link to this post with the link to your layout and if you are uploading to SCS use the keyword CSSB08. Don't forget to link your projects by next Saturday. I will post a winner Saturday evening before next weeks CASSB sketch is posted.

I threw together a super, SUPER simple gift card holder for this. Take a peek.....

The stamps are from this months KOTM and from the July KOTM....

It's Jacksonbelle Time!

It's time again for another Jacksonbelle challenge! This weeks challenge is a sketch. Some of you will remember that I shared with you about my computer crashing. Well, it's gone! I'm still hoping that they are able to salvage my pictures and files but the computer is a lost cause. I am happy to report that I have a new computer. I have a little something to share. This one uses a little Unity goodness. You may recognize it as one of the 'guess the dt' entries from last week.

How fun is this tree! I popped up the tree top to add a bit of dimension and colored the rest with my copics.
