Well, a funny thing happend on the way to a project! ;) Where to begin??? First, I had just received my new Sizzix Big Shot! Tooo excited for words! So I decided to create something using my new toy! I used the pennants to create this little something....the colors....Pink Pirouette and Kiwi Kiss of course! They are MY FAVORITE! :)
Here's a close up of the focal point.....
Ok...now the funny thing that happened on the way.....
If you've ever received blog candy...or, well anything from me you know I always include a note. Hey, this should come as no surprise! ....we're all card makers for pete's sake! ;) So as I am boxing up my little project to send to SU I spy this little card on my desk...it's a little something that you've already seen on my blog....but it was perfect because #1, it used Su stamps and #2, it used the same colors! ...you can't get more perfect than that! So I included this little number...
...and how funny to see it in the Arisan showcase! Hey, it is one of my favorite cards to date! I really LOVE this stamp set and the paper...the sentiment...the whole thing! ...but I have no idea if anyone saw or even read my note! That's the funny part! ;)
Ok...that's it for now. Please feel free to play! I would love to see what you come up with! If you do play please be so kind as to link your creations here so that I can check them out! ...Ok...I know, I already have blog candy going but how about a little something to the winner of this. Random pick. You have the rest of September...because....I have no real reason for that part...but it will be October when SU posts the next challenge so it just makes sense! ;)
Winner will receive a package of assorted In-Color card stock....and a stamp set that I will post tomorrow once the battery in my camera charges! ;) When I went to take the picture tonight it was dead! I will update this post then.
One quick edit. You do not have to be a demonstrator to participate in this challenge. Please just link your card....that's it. If you don't have the SU In-Colors please just try and get a close match. I am so sorry but I am not sure what that would be. I will be getting a picture up asap for you guys to see of the stamp set that I will be giving away. :)

Can anyone play your challenge or just demonstrators?
I love both of your cards, especially the folded one. How clever is that! It's always fun seeing the same paper and ink used differently. I'm down with getting a chance to get more stamps as well! Count me in!!!!

I love both your cards too. I like the second one best, but is nice to try new techniques also. Thanks to Tammy at Stamp Happy for referring me to your blog.

I love the scallops and the centerpiece in your first card!
LOVE the centerpiece of the butterflies in the second one. They really pop out!
I was excited to see the Artisan Award showcase! Loved your samples!
Hugs and happy dance.
Sorry, not playing, just wanted to tell you that your card is Gorgeous! Love it.
Just a post to say that I love your 2 cards above, and saw your name posted all over this week, so came to take a peek and glad I did. Do you ever post your recipes? instructions & items used? I'm wondering if the first one with scallops is an envelope card, if it opens or your recipe for it. Thx :) bluemoonbyniteatyahoodotcom
