Happy Holidays - Hip HOP!

Hey Peeps!  I hope you are all having a wonderful holiday!  We have had the pleasure of being dumped on by a huge {coming from the South this is HUGE for me} snow storm.  The boys have LOVED all of their time sledding and trying out the snow ball launchers they got for Christmas.  ;)  Such a wonderful time! 

Here's my card for this week....

This one seemed perfect since it's so gray outside.  :)  It's definitely all sunshine inside though!  :)

Hip HOP!

Hey Peeps!  Back with a layout for Unity using a bit of Paper Loft.  Take a peek at what I created for this week.....

I had surgery a couple of weeks ago and have had a bit of a hard time maneuvering the stairs.  This one I started right before but didn't quite finish.  Today was a great day in my recovery but I kind of ran out of time with the sun.  ;)

Hey Peeps!  It's hip HOP time!  :)  I'm lovin' all the brown!  It worked perfectly with what I had planned for today.  Take a peek.....

I have a tendency to gravitate towards the kraft anyhoo....Gasp! ....It's shocking, I know...  ;)

This is one of my MOST FAVORITE sentiments.  Unity has a knack for choosing the absolute, most AMAZING sentiments.  This one was perfect for me today in so very many ways.  A little reminder every now and again is a good thing.  :)

The Dark Cloud

Ever have those moments.  You know, the ones where you wish you could crawl in a hole and just shut off the world?  That's the moment I am in right now!  I came home to find out that my water meter is sinking.  Ack!  How is that even possible?!  My friend couldn't shut off the sprinklers as he couldn't access the controls as they have sunk and are now covered in ....some kind of funk....and a TON of water!

Yikes.

The good news, the city will probably...praying that this is right, ....have to fix this without me having to figure out how I am going to pay for it.  Thank goodness!  The bad news....I've spent the entire afternoon dealing with this and trying to get the guy scheduled to come out and repair.....so I have NOTHING new to share!  :(

....picking a couple of my favs....and hoping, as the repair guy will be here at some point early tomorrow....that by the time you see this I am getting really GOOD news that I do NOT have to pay for this!

I did take the boys for trick-or-treating so thought I would share one of my favorite Unity Halloween decorations......

I really love this stamp.  I added a touch of Flower Soft's Glitter Frosting to this one.  I {heart} Glitter Frosting.  Anyone who sees me on a day to day basis gets this as I am usually wearing the stuff!

A Card Creator

How do you like the sound of that?  Card Creator?  I {heart} anything that helps me put together a 'quick & easy' card. EPLS {easy peasy lemon squeezy}...that's my motto.  I do so love the Flower Soft Card Creators for just that thing.  Ok, yeah, I added a touch of this and that....that is how I roll, but the image and sentiment are from the Card Creator.  This one is from the Vintage line with designs by Mabel Lucie Attwell.  You can find the kit here.  Take a peek at my super EPLS card using this weeks CPS sketch and a bit of my favorite Jillibean Soup.....

This one was so easy to put together, especially when added to a ready sketch.....talk about a 10 minute card!  Love that!

Sweet Santa!

OMHeck!  How easy are card toppers!  I know, I know....what the heck is a card topper!?  Ok....so some of you are familiar.  I get it....but I know that for many of you it's a first....think pre-stamped...COLORED...images just WAITING for you to 'decorate' them!  Seriously!  How FAB is that!

This week the Flower Soft DT is playing with the NEW Santa Card Toppers.  There are three different packages...each contain 2 designs with 3 sheets of each....just think of how EPLS {easy peesy lemon squeezy} that would be for MASS Christmas card production!

Here's what I created with them.....

How Beautiful is he!  The art work is AMAZING!  I used my Spellbinders dies to cut him out a bit and then add him to my card face.  See!  Totally EASY for mass production!

A Flower Soft Download

Hey Peeps!  Back with a project created with one of Flower Soft's downloads.  I love 'digis'.  Love the ease of using them and how they can help to make a project move a little faster....& they are always on hand and ready to go!  This is from the floral download section.  Take a peek.....

These are compatible with Spellbinders dies.  Each download lists which die it works with.  This extra step makes creating a breeze.

I used the new Flower Soft Scrap It for this one.  The paper and embelli's are from Jillibean Soup.  Take a closer look......

I love that you can stamp all over these little frames...even around the edges, if you stamp before putting it together.  ;)
