Hey to you all. It's been a little while since my last post. Things have been pretty hard around here. We recently found out that my mother has breast cancer. Many of you know that I am a cancer survivor. My heart is heavy not only with my moms diagnosis but with the knowledge of the road ahead for her. This is such a tough fight.
With that, I am going to lighten my stamping load. I cannot believe that I will have to scale back but I know that with the summer approaching and the need to spend as much time with her as possible something will have to give. Ugh. I've been part of Sharon Johnson's stamping team for such a long time. I have had so much fun working with Sharon and all of the rest of the Stamp Simply team. Sharon has such an amazing challenge each week and I have truly been blessed to be a part of it. A couple of months back Sharon asked for each team member to host the first challenge each month. It's somewhat kismet that my turn up is now. For my last official challenge I am contributing a sketch to keep your stamping simple. It's an EPLS {easy peasy lemon squeezy} to help you whip up a card in no time flat. Here's a shot of the actual sketch.....
My card for this one uses one of my favorite stamps from The Stamps of Life. Take a peek.....With that, I am going to lighten my stamping load. The paper I used for this one is from Jillibean Soup. Head on over to Sharon's fabulous blog for the rest of the link list for the Stamp Simply team and to see Sharon's beautiful sample.
Thank you again, Sharon for asking me to join your team. It's truly been so much fun and such an honor to work with you! :) You are such a sweetie!
I will be back to post you all next week. I hope you all have a wonderful weekend! I am happy to say that I am taking a little break from all that is my 'regular' life to head on over to one of my LSS to see some of my stamping friends! What a welcome trip this is. I will share some pictures once I get back. :)

So sorry to hear about this--I didn't know you were a cancer survivor--we will def. be praying for you and your family!
**NOTE:: I hope you don't mind if I share this with you--I apologize if I'm pushing it--Today I read in my bible study that God cannot give out pain or sicknesses since He doesn't have it--in Heaven there is NO SICKNESS NO PAIN! The study said that God can only give out HEALING! Praise, Jesus:)
Dear Lord, I thank you so much for Jennifer and the blessing of creativity that you have given her. I also thank you that she is a survivor of cancer! Lord, I pray for her family--and esp. her mom. God, I lift them up because of this breast cancer that her mom now has. Lord--I pray for Your healing on them and Your comfort and peace. Lord, we know that there is no pain or sickness in Heaven, and we thank you that you can only give healing. Lord, I pray for a healing on Jennifer's mom--I ask that she would be healed from this cancer and that it would leave her body! Thank you, Lord, for healing and all good gifts ["Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning." James 1:17]. I also praise You, Lord, because you hear our cries and that You have a plan--much greater than we could ever wish for [Jer. 29:11-13]. Thank you, God, for our salvation and for Your son who died for us. We ask this in Jesus' precious name--AMEN!
