You're A Doll

Hey Everyone! :) I've got a couple of Unity cards for you today. First up a little 'somethin', somethin' from this months KOTM. Take a peek.....

Hmmm....just realized I have a bit of a theme going on here today. When you see the next one you will understand.....

This one uses one of the Unity kits only available at stores. There are so many great online retailers that carry Unity so you can check them out for this one. For a view of the whole kit go here. The paper for this one is Lily bee. I'm new to this brand but fell in love instantly! CUTE stuff! Of course a bit of Flower Soft for her hair. I used the new Ultra Fine in Toffee.

Guess my subconscious is at work here. Many of you know that I am a cancer survivor. I recently had a routine scan that turned up something. Due to the type of treatment that I had for Hodgkin's Lymphoma I am at a higher risk for breast cancer. I now have scans every six months to check for that. My latest MRI showed something 'suspicious'.....I really hate that word! In all likelihood it is nothing, at least that is what the dr. told me but just to be safe I have to have a biopsy. The really good news is that if it is anything bad we have caught this really early. Yay! ...although still not quite the birthday present that I would have hoped for! ;) This is why I haven't been around much lately. The spot was to small to biopsy with an ultra sound so we are waiting for the next step. I'm not so good at waiting.

Anyway, don't forget to be tested. It's really so important to stay on top of things like this.

Hope you are all doing well and that you have a wonderful day! I'm off. Back in a bit with more. :)

I sure hope you are OK! I'll be thinking of you. I had arthritis treatments that increased my risk of cancer too so I know what it's like! Eek! Glad you are staying viligant with your testing! I love the little tag hanging from the ribbon on your first card. So cute!

I love your cards and totally understand your theme. I am not very good at waiting either. The flip side is that good things come to those who wait... right? Best of luck and I will keep you and your family in my prayers.

Great cards Jennifer! I'm praying everything is ok with you. Please keep us posted. Every year my girls and I walk the Relay for life in honor of family members who have fought this ugly disease. Hoping to see you here more often! I love your work!

Jennifer,
Your cards are adorable, but more importantly will be saying prayers that your biopsy is fine. My thoughts are with you!

Jennifer, loved your card and am praying that your biopsy is okay..In July, I celebrated my ten year anniversary as a breast cancer survivor and then on December 21st began my second battle..I know how stressful it is waiting for tests and results..just remember that God is in control and that He is the "Great Physician!" Hugs to you!
