Just A Few Pics....

Hey you guys! How about a little MFT and a few pics from convention. My upline was such a sweetie to send ...and take these for me. Here's a few.....
First, last night I had the great pleasure of hosting a challenge at the MFT release. Here's the card I made for that challenge....

I really love this one. Flowers are a fav of mine and I used my Papertrey paper for it. The ribbon is from Flourishes. I am soooo excited to be able to buy this ribbon still. SU had it in Chocolate Chip and an In Color last winter. I stocked up because it is decadent! I am so happy to be able to keep on purchasing it! The light pink color is a really great match to Papertrey's Sweet Blush...which you know is my FAV!

Ok...moving on....

Artisan award night. Here's a picture of the winners that were able to attend convention....

These gals are so super sweet! It was my pleasure to get to spend time getting to know each of them a little bit better. Truly such a joy.

...and my new bling....

How fantabulous is this! One of the designers at Stampin' Up! actually created this for us. I am so in love with it!

That's it for me for now. I have two new cards to snap a picture of....I will be posting them....well for sure one of them tonight....and I am so excited that my night is pretty much free to stamp, stamp, stamp! I have a little work but otherwise it will be all play!

I hope you are all having a great day! I will post you soon!

A Quickie MFT....

Hey all you stampers out there! I'm sorry this will be another super quick post....I am trying to organize my basement still....I'm going to be perfectly honest....it's not going so well! Hayden is always two steps ahead of me! I start to go through one thing only to have to stop and move some things out of the way....it's just leading to big piles of stuff that I have no desire to go through...this is really going to take forever! :) I just wish I had my camera ready earlier...he was up to his ears in paper! It was super cute!

Anyway, I thought I would share a little something I put together for the My Favorite Things contest over the weekend....It was Kim's birthday! woohoo! Happy Birthday Kim! :) Anyway, here's what I made...

I LOVE this paper! I'm running out! Holy moly! I need to head to the store and pick up more before it's gone forever!

Anyway...that's about it for me....I am going to head back to the cleaning space....I can hardly stand to look at it by the way!

I will be back in a bit to post a little Unity card I made last night. I was trying to get some good light to take the picture. This is a super simple one that I made using the Eco Chic set...LOVE that set!

I hope you are all having a great day!

Post you soon!

ONE....

It's my goal to have a three challenge night!

CAN ... I.... DO.....it?

lol...totally laughing at myself! ...hope your laughing a bit to...otherwise I really am just a bit nuts!

I always start Friday off with the best of intentions. I am going to do every challenge there is by the end of the weekend. More often than not as of late, I am finishing the challenges as the new ones are posting the next week! Such a bummer...I hate being late!

My first card is for Sharon Johnson's Stamp Simply Challenge. For this one you have to include round corners. I am hoping this counts....

One quick note...I am thinking that every card will be using the same papers. Hey...it's just easier that way. That's one less step in the whole creating process tonight! I still have major eggs to stuff! ...and quite frankly, I am thinking I should have taken a bit more time on the umbrella. I was drawing it at an angle..in that it wasn't straight up and I wasn't really paying attention until after I was finished. It seems crooked to me. ...Let's just pretend it's a really windy day!....remember...Major eggs to stuff! ;)

Now off for card number two....

My Favorite Things Sketch Challenge

Today has been a pretty fun day. The boys were out of school so for most of the day we have played. Every now and again I would sit down and do a little stamping...but then it was back to playtime.

Here is something that I've actually finished today. I have a few projects started but they will take a little longer to complete. It was fun to participate in the My Favorite Things sketch challenge. This is a first for me. I must confess that as much as I love SCS, I get lost trying to find my way around. Part of that is just because I get so distracted looking at all the pretty scenery!

But today I found it and what a fun sketch! I had such a great time with this one. Here's my interpretation of Cindy's wonderful sketch....

And there you have it. Thanks so much for stopping by and checking things out. I am so excited that today is Friday! ....More and More and More Sketches!!!! They will be the perfect intermission for the other projects I am working on.

Hope you are all having a wonderful Friday and I will post you later!

Jen's Sketch

Hello to you all! Here's my submission for Jen del Muro's sketch challenge. I need some birthday cards desperately...this is birthday season for my family! So I finally set on this stamp from My Favorite Things. I think I am going to give this one to my cousin as this looks just like her!

Here's my card for the sketch....

This one was definitely EPLS (easy, peasy, lemon, squeezy!) I actually colored the image while waiting for Carter at kindergarten pickup. I used the You Take the Cake set from My Favorite Things. The polk-a-dot paper is from Basic Grey. All other supplies are from Stampin' Up!...chocolate chip satin ribbon and card stock, pumpkin pie and whisper white card stock and pumpkin pie designer series paper. I used my copic markers to color her in. I used e47, yr07,r46, yg63, w1, e31. I also used my crystal effects on the icing on the cake but I obviously need to take a closer shot as you really can't see my shiny icing.

...and let me say...this is making me want a piece of chocolate cake right now! yum!

Thanks so much for stopping by and thanks so much, Jen, for another fun sketch! I really had fun with this.

Take care and I will post you later! I am looking forward to a night of stamping after everyone goes to sleep tonight!

See ya soon! :)
