Look What We Learned & More From Unity & CPS

Hey Everyone! Hope you are all well. Things are wonderful here! It feels like summer this week! The temps in Indy have been as hot as they are back home! It's not the usual spring but I'm loving it all the same! We've been living like it's summer! Friday found me teaching my youngest to ride his bike without his training wheels! OMG! He is growing up so fast! After many wipe outs....all from stopping, but no skinned knees to report, phew!....I'm happy to say that he's a natural. He can finally keep up with his big brothers while riding. Life in the Buck house will never be the same!

How stinkin' cute is he! We've been riding the 'hood non-stop all weekend. I will confess to doing a little rain dance....mommy needs a nap! ;)

On to some stamp goodness. This week I am using the current CPS sketch with one of my Unity favs. You can view the sketch here. The stamp kit is All Smiles. This is one of my FAVORITES! I love this kit! Take a peek.......

Hello, Friend!

Back again. It's time for more on the Unity front. It's spring break here and finally it actually feels like spring! I am so over the cold weather! Knowing this neck of the woods we haven't seen the last of the cold so I am really enjoying the high 60's and sun! This weeks card is a reflection of both the spring {warm'ish weather & busy spring break week....birds, flowers, & EPLS!}

I used this weeks sketch from Card Positioning Systems {CPS161}. The stamp is from the April KOTM. The paper is from Crate Paper.

Me again! It's been a busy day of posting for me! This is the third for today. We were gone this past weekend so it's been pretty quiet over here so it seems a bit crazy with everything today!...but in a fun way! Now it's time for Sharon's Stamp Simply challenge. This weeks challenge is to create using the colors purple and green. I used a bit more from the Unity KOTM for this one. Take a peek.....

I really love this sentiment. I stamped it twice and then cut out the butterfly to pop it up a bit. The paper, ribbon, and button are from PTI. The patterned paper is Bo Bunny.

It's time for a little more Unity. Today a sneak from the new store kit. You can get all of the deets over at the Unity site. This is such a cute kit! I really love it! One of my favorite sentiments from this kit is the 'fun.gi'. CUTE! Perfect for your Valentine! Here's what I came up with this one.....

LOVE that little 'shroom and the sentiment is a hoot! The paper is from Whate of a Tale from Sassafras. I colored the muchroom with my copics.

Sorry for the quickie post. At the time of writing this we are heading out to a basketball game and then to the sledding hill. Ok....well, all of the men in my house are. I'm curled up in bed...hopefully they let me sleep in.....I'm a bit under the weather.

Happy New Years! I hope you are all having a wonderful holiday season! I'm so sorry for the quick post but I am on 'gaming' duty with the kiddos today. I really love this time of year but with them off from school for so long I feel like my days are all about Mario, Madden '10, Monopoly....the list goes on and on! I did take a bit of a break yesterday to squeeze in some creating time. :) Here's what I have for you today....

I'm so excited to share my first samples with this months Unity Kit of the Month. This months kit is AMAZING! I really love it. You can see the whole kit at the Unity store. Here are my samples....

Love this balloon. It's beautiful. The sentiments in the kit fit nicely over it as well.

Next up an EPLS one with an AMAZING sentiment. I used some Basic Grey for this one.....

Happy 1st! It's time, it's time, it's time!!!! ;) Time for the new Unity KOTM! :) I really love this months kit and am so excited to have my very own copy in my hot little hands to play with! You guys are gonna LOVE this one!

I always love the sayings that Angela chooses for our kits. They are always so motivating and uplifting. This is one of my favorites!

Simply Step Away From the Kraft

It's time to Stamp Simply! This challenge is super fun and so Simple. ;) Sorry...couldn't resist. This week we need to create a card with a leaf image but you also have to sponge as well. Seriously! I realized as I was snapping a shot of this weeks card that I have been OD'ing on the stuff lately! EPLS...CAS (clean & simple)....and kraft. Lately I am just loving it and just can't seem to pull myself away! I think I need a mini challenge for myself. You know, to create something bright and a wee bit wild! ;) I will work on that this weekend. lol.



Ok...back to this FUN challenge! Here's what I came up with.....

LOVE this leaf! This is from Unity Stamp Co. I used a sentiment from PTI. Uh, yeah....just used this one. It was still sitting on my acrylic block and looked perfect for this one. I sponged the leaf first with ink then covered it with a little glossy accents. It needed to shine a bit. Added a few holes and a bit of stitching...easy.

Who Does That?

...why Unity of course! ;)

I love how Angela is always changing things to make everything 'fresh'. There is always something fun, new, and exciting! This week marks our first new blog hop, 'Who Does That?'. There are so many new stamps. There are so many beautiful samples. So much to do and see! You can find all of the news at the Unity blog.

I'm using one of my favorite new releases for today. I had such a hard time choosing which one to show you today! I opted for a layout that I created using Simple Blessings. Take a look....

That's my youngest from last Halloween. The force was with us that year. We had Anikan, Obi-Won (sp), and Yoda. Obviously Hayden was Yoda. He really wasn't loving the hat. This is one of the few pictures I have of him with a smile while wearing it. He wanted that thing off pronto! We are now trying to choose costumes for this year. Unfortunately for me the Grim Reaper is high on one of my boys lists. Yikes! I'm guessing my next Halloween layouts won't be so much fun! ;)

Over Stamped!

I pulled out some new Unity for this one. This set is actually not available just yet but will be soon.

I stamped the ornament and then overstamped the sentiment. I also added a little Glossy Accents from Ranger. The paper is Papertrey Ink.
