Hey Peeps!  Back with a layout for Unity using a bit of Paper Loft.  Take a peek at what I created for this week.....

I had surgery a couple of weeks ago and have had a bit of a hard time maneuvering the stairs.  This one I started right before but didn't quite finish.  Today was a great day in my recovery but I kind of ran out of time with the sun.  ;)

Hippity Hop

I {heart} this kit.  It has so many wonderful elements.  This is one of my favorites from the kit.  It really speaks to me.  ;-)

Happy Thursday! :) It's time for hip HOP! I'm so excited to be back with the hop this week. Lots of fun things happening here and at such a wonderful time! :) {More to come.}

This week I used the new Halloween release from Unity Stamp Co. If you are a regular blog reader here you know that I am kind of a freak for Halloween. I've already started working on decorating and was happy to take a moment from making my home look a bit 'haunted' to create a card to send to someone for my second favorite holiday. ;) Here's what I came up with.....

I love, LOVE, love those little bats! They are so super cute! I stamped mine to create a little border to go across the card. You can see the rest of this at the Unity site...along with soooo many CUTE goodies! :)

Home Again, Home Again

Happy Thursday! Remember me? My life has been a bit chaotic lately but I am feeling so lucky to be here with you and back to sharing what I love....Unity! :) Angela and the gang have been so very hard at it producing so many amazing images. I feel so truly blessed to have the opportunity to be back creating with them.

A little confessing....it's been such a long time since I've posted that I honestly had a little bit of a time just finding the tab to 'create a new post' on my blog. You know your rusty if you can no longer find that little button! Hopefully you won't think my project for this week is, though. Take a peek.....

I used the March KOTM for this one. This is such an adorable kit. I have quite a few projects at different stages of completion but stopped to use this image since my three sons have birthdays over the next few weeks. My youngest turned four last week. I seriously cannot believe that my baby isn't a baby anymore! He's actually going to be playing baseball this season. It really is flying by.

Ok....back to the project....the paper for this one is from Jillibean Soup and the stamps are Unity's March {2011} KOTM.

A Christmas Daily, Etc.

This weeks Unity DT challenge is to create a Christmas daily journal. I'm going to be sharing mine with you in stages. I'll be back with more throughout this month, but today....the cover. I am using one of the Jillibean Soup Christmas kits from Unity Stamp, Co. for this one and more of the cute Jillibean Soup papers & embelli's. Take a peek.....


I can't wait to share the rest of this one with you & to fill this up with all of our memories leading up to Christmas.


One more. I made this little card using this months KOTM and more of the Jillibean Soup patterned paper. The sketch for the card is this weeks sketch over at CPS.

Hip Hop {Lost}

...well, I feel sort of lost anyway! ;)



Hey all you Unity Peeps! It's been quite a while since I've joined you for all of the hip Hop fun but I'm happy to be back in the mix! :) What a fun week to be popping back in....Halloween funtastic time! You know how much I love Halloween so this weeks project was such a fun one to create as everyone is working on a little somethin', somethin' for this Halloween season. I opted to create a little door hanger using one of the cutest sets evah from Ippity. Take a peek......





Confession time....I cannot remember much about the specifics of this one except for the Ippity stamps and the Flower Soft to the letters. Ack! You should see my stamp room it's a complete disaster....at least it was when I started this project. I did work quite late into the night trying to get things back in order. {I have a stack of photos that need scrapbooking and there is no way that will get started with things looking the way the did!}


If it helps, I think the paper is Making Memories. I'm guessing someone can jump in and correct that if I am wrong. Sorry, I'm a bit rusty at this. ;) The ribbon and accent purple paper is from PTI.

Hip Hop {Grunge Style}

Happy Hip Hop Peeps! I'm back with a quick one for you this week with a style combo....grunge and Clean & Simple. ???? Really! I think it goes quite well together and I was inspired by the oh so talented and SOOOOOOOOOOO sweet Wendy Vecchi herself! Ack! I had the pleasure of taking a class this weekend over at one of my local stores that Wendy was teaching. How much fun is that! Daisy {Eclectic Paperie} was there and {Bad} Sherry herself! Take a peek.....

Yeah, we are BFF's now. Honestly! ;) She is truly one of the most AMAZING gals you could ever have the pleasure of meeting and just so incredibly talented. I had so much fun learning new stuff during the class. And Sherry and Daisy! Love them both! I hate that I only see everyone at things like this. How fun it would be for all of us to live closer. In a perfect world.

Ok...on to today's hop. I'm trying to channel a bit of Wendy for todays post. It's actually sort of a Wendy/Jen combo. I pulled out my grunge paper, inks, Unity KOTM....and kraft card stock {of course}. Here's the result......

How many ways do I love this image! LOVE it! I used Ranger Inks to color {sponge} it in and did some popping up of different pieces. Add a bit of stitching, ribbon, and some distress stickles.....

How awesome are the distress stickles! I love the look on the wings.

Happy Thursday! :) I'm really excited about our next Kit of the Month! I am so in love with all of the images! I know, I know....I say that every month....but they just get better and better!

This week I am using one of my favorite images from the next kit. I sooooooo love this one! Something about the little doll just screamed Halloween to me. Take a peek.....

How stinkin cute is she! Love her! I used a sentiment from the Hauntingly Sweet set. I added a bit of Flower Soft to her hair and Crystal Effects for her little button eyes.

Next up a little blast from the past. This is one of my favorite layouts and it seemed fitting to share it today since school has started here and little Hayden has my undivided attention these days. I think he's truly enjoying this!

Soon enough he will be heading off to school. Time really flies doesn't it? You really do have to savor every moment.

Happy Hip HOP Thursday! I'm going to get right to bi'ness with this one. We are off for a bit of mini golf today....how fun is that! ;) The boys are excited....I'm writing this in the morning before my coffee so I'm sure my enthusiasm will pick up once I've had my first cup.....

How much do I LOVE the new store kit! I created a Clean & Simple somethin', somethin' for this one. I just love the 'button' flowers....that's what popped into my head right away. So I pulled out some of my favorite buttons, my favorite color combo.......

Love this stamp! It's super cute! Of course the whole kit is! The embelli's are PTI, the ink is Memento and Copics. EPLS. :)

Hip Hop...as I'm heading to CHA! I'm a bit late going this time around but am soooo excited to see everyone! This time I am leaving the laptop at home but will more than likely send you guys some updates from the road via Facebook. I'll be sure and post some pictures once I make it home.

Hip Hop Halloween!

Happy Hip Hop Thursday! :) I am so excited about this weeks release! Y'all know how much I love creating projects for holidays and Halloween is one of my favs! I LOVE the colors! When else can you get away with combining any combination of black, orange, purple and green! LOVE it!

I love all of Unity's Halloween stamp kits and this weeks release is definitely being added to my list of favs! It's super cute! I went Clean & Simple with my creation today. Here's what I came up with.....

What can I say....clean lines really speak to me and something about this image just really makes it seem perfect for that!

Happy Hip Hop Thursday! It's so good to be back! It's been crazy here catching up from the vacation. We had a great time...very relaxing. Wouldn't it be great if everything else didn't pile up while you were away? ;)

Oh to live on the beach! Would I ever get anything done? I could so get used to a life of lounging all day long!

Ok...back to hip hop. I've got two for you today with the Kit of the Month. I LOVE this kit! It's the cutest! I also used some October Afternoon for both.....

Love the sun. It's one of my favorite stamps from this kit. I masked the words so that it would layer in the middle. The ribbon is PTI.

The little birdie is courtesy of my sweet friend Kimber. I so love that she lives nearby. We were stamping together not so long ago and she gave me the bird. ;) I added a bit of dsp, a button, and some button.

The ribbon and button are from PTI. The sentiment is one of the many cuties from this months kit.

The Most Wonderful Hip HOP!

How fun to bring a little Christmas to June! Yesterday was such a HOT day! It so nice to bring a little winter cheer!


I LOVE the new Christmas stamps from Unity! How CUTE are they! I made a few EPLS samples for this one. I think I could whip out a few dozen of these to maybe send out this year. I used October Afternoon for all of them. Take a peek....

The ribbon is old Stampin Up.

Next up a little gift set. I found these super cute boxes and thought they would be perfect for a bit of candy....
