Unity & CPS

Hey!  Back again with a card from the latest CPS sketch a a CUTE little something from Unity.  Take a peek....

deets:

Stamp:  Unity Stamp Co

Patterned Paper:  My Minds Eye

Ribbon:  Really Reasonable Ribbon

Card Stock:  Michaels

Sorry it's been so long.  I had so many computer issues over the last week.  I am trying to work my way out of the back-log that created.  It's amazing how behind you can get when your computer decides it's not going to work for you anymore.  Ugh.  Wish they were easier!  ;-)

Hope you are all having a wonderful day!

Unity & CPS

Back with another fun sketch from Tami at CPS.  You can see the sketch and play along here.  Here's my take on this weeks sketch.....

deets:

stamp:  Unity Stamp Co {March KOTM 2012}

patterned paper:  My Minds Eye

ribbon:  SU

buttons:  PTI

I'm using this month's Kit of the Month from Unity.  I love this kit.  These stamps really spoke to me.  Ever have one of those moments....you know....all your little 'chicks' aren't quite listening, there's a mess in every direction, the miles on my 'taxi' just keep going up....  ;-) Every now and again a card like this is perfect.  I always thank God for my little ones and at the end of the day cannot even imagine a single MOMENT without them, but sometimes you just need a breath.  ;-)

Hope you are all having a great day.  I will be back soon.

Love the Flowers

Happy hip Hop Thursday! I'm here with a little card further inspired by my Wendy Vecchi class. One of the things that I learned how to do from the Oh so talented Wendy {you know she's my BFF....just sayin'..... ;)....} is creating these CUTE paper flowers. LOVE the flowers...they are fab! This week I am combining one of my favorite sentiments from the current Unity KOTM with this weeks CPS sketch and a few of these fun flowers. Take a peek...

The paper for this card is from My Minds Eye. I made the flowers using one of the pieces of patterned paper and the Time Holtz Alterations Tatered Florals die....more to come on that later.

Now head on over to Natalie's amazing blog....

Hope you all enjoy the rest of the hop and have a wonderful day! I will post you soon! :)

Happy Anniversary Baby!

This is such an exciting week! It's Unity's anniversary! OMHeck! It's been so much fun being part of Unity and watching them grow. I am truly so honored to be part of their team. They are truly a family. This week has so many fun challenges and games and NEW stamps...sooooo much Unity goodness! Happy Times!

I've got a sample with one of my favorite new Unity kits, Heart Times. Take a peek.....

How sweet are those little Rx bottles! LOVE this set! It's the cutest! I picked up some new paper at a new scrapbook store while doing a little shopping after the Copic class {more to come on that later...what a FUN time!} The paper is from the Lush line from My Minds Eye. I colored the image with my Copic's and used this weeks CPS sketch as a starting point.

Now it's time to head over to sweet Natalie's blog....the button should be working, I tested it, but just in case.... ;)

Hope you enjoy the rest of today's hop. I will be back tomorrow with more. :) Post you all soon! :)

Happy Birthday To You, Cha, Cha, Cha...

Happy Birthday to you!

Ok...enough singing from me. ;) How exciting is this!

Happy Birthday, Unity Stamp Co.! :)

I am so happy to be part of this team. It's truly such a blessing to call the gals and guys at Unity friends. They are all such amazing people and wonderful friends.

By now you've been given all the deets about the new Ning place so I am going to skip forward to todays new release! LOVE this little cutie! Take a peek....

The paper for this one is from My Mind's Eye. I picked it up over at Stampers Dream. CUTE stuff to go with a CUTE stamp!

Next up a layout. I pulled out an 'oldie' for this one.

This is one of my favorite pictures. I snapped it at the ballpark this weekend during our double-header. Hayden lost his patience pretty early on but was definitely into playing in the dirt and mud. Once Evan's game ended he got down there to play with him. They both went home with at least 4 layers! Fun times.

That's it for me. I will catch you all in the hip hop forum! So who's got the cake?

Now hop on over to the amazing....

...and enjoy the celebration!

Are you ready for Christmas? In all honesty, I'm still working on it! ...but enjoying every minute! I dont' often have any shopping to do at this time of year...ok...that part isn't so fun...tooooo many crowds. Heck, it just takes forever to get to the stores because of traffic! My house is almost ready. I've had so many stamping projects that I am slightly behind on that part as well. Although, I'm ok with that. All the elements that the boys love are up and shining so bright.

Here's one of the projects I have been working on. I made this one for Angela...you know, Unity Angela! ;) I pulled out my Bitty Christmas Tags for it along with my sizzix pennant dies.....

Here's a close up of some of the different pieces....

One more....

I realized as I was editing these that they came out slightly blurry. Sorry about that. You get the idea. I would retake...but can't...it's not here anymore! ;)

Hope you are all having a wonderful Sunday! I am off to start my day! :)

Post you soon!

Happy Halloween! :)

Well, you know I couldn't post today without it being a Halloween card! You would have had to check my temperature if I had done that! ;) So today's had to use a button....you know for Sharon's Stamp Simply challenge. This week is 'Button up for ....fall....Winter!'

Hmmm....buttons..........................................................

I opted to use mine on my tag...because I am somewhat button challenged!

Here's my Mummy card....

The deets: My Minds Eye dsp, Very Vanilla cs SU for the mummy...which I just cut into strips and then distressed with black ink...it was actually pretty simple...although definitely not a 10 minute card...or maybe that was just because I was watching TV while making it!...., purple ribbon Martha Stewart...and I picked it up in the clearance section for $1.99! LOVE a bargain!....'Boo' sentiment PTI, jiggle eyes...

jiggle eyes! OHMYHECK! They are FABULOUS! Look at this.....

They're from Jeepers Creepers and how stinkin cute are they! I'm in love! LOL...yes, I realize how sad and pathetic that really is! :)

That's it for me. I'm actually off to bed! :) Carter is sick again. Poor little guy. It's probably more like still sick but he seemed ok today and yesterday. I'm hoping he is better by Halloween night....I would feel so bad for him if he missed anything!

Post you soon! Have a wonderful and safe Halloween! :)

Beate's BIC #28

It's that time of week! Time to be inspired and Beate has the coolest piece for us! For this, BIC28, we have this.....

...for some reason this screamed Halloween to me! LOL! I am not sure if it's the colors or just the time of year. Anyway, this is what I did.....

This is seriously the quickest card ever! I made the circles with my Nesties....just took a piece of black card stock and 'nested' them on it and cut...EPLS. The paper is My Minds Eye. The stamp is from Unity's Unlucky 13...one of my current favs... I put this one together in about 15 minutes while getting the boys ready for school. Last night was a late one. Evan had the championship game for his football team. I am happy to report that his team won! Woohoo! We were out so late...for us! ;) I will have to share a photo later as I am barely getting this one up!

That's it for me. Be sure and check out the rest of Beate's team...
