FSC40 - Winter Blues
Time for another Flower Soft challenge. :-) This weeks challenge was perfect for me. It's been cold, and RAINY for the last few days! Snow....I would be excited for snow! I'm not such a fan of cold and rain though. BUT, it made for choosing something from the Flower Soft {aka: Kay Sue Designs} line EPLS {easy peasy, lemon squeezy}! Take a peek....
I'm smiling with this one! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the new Mabel Lucie Attwell images! {releasing Dec 6 in the UK and at CHA in the US}. This one comes from one of the upcoming card kits that has die-cut images for you to punch and layer. I used Jillibean Soup {Christmas Eve Chowder} for the patterned paper which worked perfectly with the image. A little Spellbinder die for the backing to the image. This weeks sketch from CPS was also a bit of inspiration....and, viola!
Be sure and check out what the rest of the team has come up with:
- Cibele Glazer
- Deb Felts
- Debbie Seyer
- Dina Kowal
- Gini Cagle
- Jeanne Streiff
- Linda Beeson
- Lisa Murphy
- Vicki Garret
- Hope you get to play. Be sure and post at the Flower Soft blog to be entered in this weeks challenge give-away! This week we are giving away a pot of Polar White, Delphinium Blue, and Flower Soft glue. :-) Best of luck to you!
HHave a good one!

You Melt My Heart
Ever have one of those craft moments when you feel like there are tooooo many cute things and you don't know where to start? I am right there! It's definitely a creative place to be though and I place a rather enjoy. I love new stamps and can't wait to get them inky. Today I am sharing an EPLS card that I made using one of the cuties from Unity Stamp Co. Take a peek....
I LOVE this little guy. He's so cute. I colored him with Copics....something I need to pull out much more to play with. Why can't there be more hours in the day! :-)

New, New, New! Coming Soon!
I get so excited when I see new products. Don't you love CHA? Even if you aren't able to be there all the pictures that surface on the many blogs of all that is new and soon to be in our hot little hands. It's so exciting and like Christmas!
While hanging out at the Flower Soft offices the other day I spied the CUTEST new product that will soon be released....so I carefully tucked it in my purse and snuck out the back...and....
lol....NOT REALLY! Sue and Mark both know I have this and it is with their blessing I share it with you. It did sound sneaky though, didn't it? ;-) I'm actually about as sneaky as a mack truck so just smile and nod.
So, here we go. The new, EXCITING, product! Aah! It's soooo super cute! Take a peek at one of the new card kits that Flower Soft will soon be releasing........
How cute is this! Ok....first this kit is NOT available yet....but will be soooo soon! If you are in the UK you may pick one up for yourself on December 6 via the Create and Craft show....just a bit envious of my friends on the other side of the pond..... ;-) For all of us in the US, these cuties will be releasing at CHA and so we should be able to purchase them in February.
This is such an amazing kit. Included are the makings for 8 cards...including envelopes...AND pop up dots! ....LOTS of pop up dots! I tried to get it all in the picture above. I'm not sure if you can see all of it.
Each sheet is uncoated so that you can add your own ink and coloring, just like all the toppers and paper kits from Flower Soft.
The images....wowzers! How stinkin' cute are they! These are images that were created by the late artist Mabel Lucie Attwell. I LOVE how whimsical the images are and the coloring is perfect!
Each sheet of this kit shows you exactly where to score and cut your card stock if you are opting for a truly EPLS {easy peasy lemon squeezy} card and an additional image to allow you to cut out and 'pop up' for more dimension.
The card on the left is what you will create by following the guides and popping up with the additional image on one sheet. Of course, you know me....yup, a true lover of all things EPLS and CAS but also never one to stick to the rules. I took one of the other sheets and created this one....
Here's another one. With the basic card I simple scored and viola.....

I love that with this kit you have a ready to set of blank notecards. Something that is perfect in a pinch. But I REALLY love the ability to make it a bit more.....
There are a few more kits that I have seen already and they are all adorable. I can't wait to share more with you and REALLY am looking forward to the release of this one!
Thanks for stopping by. I hope you all have a wonderful weekend!
Hugs!

Such Ippity Cute-ness
Oh my heck! Can I tell you how much I fell in love with this image when I saw it!?! LOVE it!!!!! Ok, I guess I should start by saying that this is an Ippity kit and that it's one of the CUTEST kits ever! Now I'll stop gushing for a second to show you the card....... ;-)
How cute is he!?! I really LOVE this one. This is one of those that you get in your hot little hands and you just have to make SOMETHING, ANYTHING, but RIGHT NOW! I love kits like that. :-) My eleven year old said, 'no truer words have been said', in regards to the sentiment. He's an interesting child. ;-) I added a bit of Ultra Fine Flower Soft to his little Santa hat. Anyhoo, that's all I have for you today. I will post you soon!
Have a good one!
Supplies used:
Stamp kit: Ippity
Patterned Paper: Authentique
Card Stock & Ribbon: PTI
Flower Soft {Ultra Fine White}
I was so excited to be working with the new Flower Soft downloads. I truly love digital images. One of the things I love is that they do not take space on my already over flowing desk! The BEST thing about them is the quick, ready made image. I love that you just open, print, and add to your project. I put together a quick little card for todays post using the Lily download and used my Spellbinders dies to 'punch' the image out. Take a peek....
That's it for me. Hope you all have a wonderful day! Hugs!
Supplies used:
Katy Sue Designs {aka: Flower Soft} Lily digital download
Spellbinders Nestibilities
Basic Grey Eskimo Kisses patterned paper

You're The Light
There have been so many changes around here. Things have been somewhat crazy. I know that I haven't been a blogger to count on for quite a while but if you knew all the deets you would totally understand. This week feels huge to me....this is blog post number two for the week! Woohoo! ;-) Remember when it was number two for the day? Wowzers. ;-)
I'm here today to share a bit of Unity. You know I LOVE my Unity! This weeks card is one of my favorites yet. One reason is the clean simplicity of the design and the other is, of course, the CUTE image and sentiment! Take a peek.....
How many ways do I love this stamp! You can find more at the Unity store.....sooooo much more CUTEness! Oh my heck, I used my copics! I actually had to refill one of them. It had dried out from neglect. That is shameful, don't you think?!?
I'm off for now. I will post you all soon. Hope you have a wonderful weekend!

Party 'Animal'
Hey Peeps! It's time for a Flower Soft challenge. This weeks challenge is 'Let's Talk Turkey'....or any other animal you choose. ;-) What a perfect time to bring out my Winebuffs Papercraft Kit. How's this party 'animal'.....
I love the images within this line and LOVE that the images are all done for me in the paper kit! With a bit of patterned paper as well! This card took all of about 10 minutes start to finish. It's seriously one of the EPLS {easy peasy lemon squeezy} cards out there! I added a touch of ink to the edges and some ribbon and that was it. Ready made celebration card. :-)
